TrackAddix Rider Code Of Conduct

TRACKADDIX RIDER CODE OF CONDUCT

All participants at TrackAddix events agree to abide by this Code of Conduct as a condition of registration for any event. TrackAddix events are SAFE and FUN due to the high quality of riders at our events and the sense of community/camaraderie cultivated over 2+ decades of TrackAddix operations.

This Code of Conduct is designed to outline the important aspects of both riding behavior on the track as well as personal behavior in the paddock which is expected of ALL TrackAddix riders to ensure the ongoing SAFETY and FUN of our events. Violations of this Code of Conduct will result in disciplinary action, up to and including being removed from the event, as well as being BANNED from all future TrackAddix events.

TrackAddix Staff are responsible for enforcing all track day rules, procedures and this Code of Conduct, and have full authority to issue disciplinary actions.

Prohibited/Negative On-Track Behaviors:

  • Passing any STUDENT wearing a colored cover over their leathers in the B Group ANYWHERE other than on straightaways. NO PASSING of students (including Instructors leading the students) in corners ever.
  • Failure to properly signal a track exit and following the specified track exit procedure.
  • Entering the track in an unsafe manner by not yielding to existing traffic coming through Turn 2. At no time should you enter the track directly in front of, or next to, a bike coming through Turn 2.
  • Weaving from side to side on straights, choose your line and stay on it.
  • Slowing down excessively on straights to “wait for” another rider, this is never acceptable. The proper procedure is to PIT IN, wait in the hot pit area until you see the rider you wish to ride with coming through Turn 11, then proceed to the track entry, and you will be entering the track in the vicinity behind that rider.
  • Violation of the “Safe, Clean and Courteous” passing rule for EVERY TrackAddix riding group/session, other than the GP RACE event.

Prohibited/Negative Personal / Paddock Behaviors:

  • Entering the track prior to or in the absence of signing the INSURANCE WAIVER document at the TrackAddix registration table. This will result in being BANNED from all TrackAddix events.
  • Entering the track at any time where the rider has not REGISTERED and PAID to ride in the current session. This INCLUDES entering the track in the B Group session if the rider is registered for the A Group session, or vice versa. This will result in being BANNED from all TrackAddix events.
  • Attempting to enter the track in violation of the TrackAddix Action Camera Policy.
  • Attempting to enter the track while wearing any type of helmet communication system, and/or wearing any kind of earphones or earbuds. NO ELECTRIC DEVICES above the neck are allowed of any type, including OUTSIDE or INSIDE the helmet, at any TrackAddix / MPH event, per the TrackAddix Helmet Electronics Policy.
  • Excessive speed in the paddock, the speed limit is 15 MPH anywhere in the paddock area at all times.
  • Confronting or threatening another rider in the paddock at any time for any reason. If there is an on-track incident involving another rider, the proper procedure is to inform a TrackAddix Staff member of the issue and let the staff handle it. At NO TIME should you directly confront another rider about something that happened on the track.
  • Arguing with any TrackAddix Staff member who is informing you of any corrective action necessary in your riding or personal behavior. TrackAddix Staff have decades of experience operating our events, and are the ultimate arbiters of any issues. Take any criticism or corrective action constructively to ensure your own safety as well as the safety of your fellow riders.
  • Consuming any alcoholic beverage or any intoxicating substance within 8 hours prior to riding on the track.
