TrackAddix Helmet Electronics Policy

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY @7/23/24

While this has been our RULE for several years, in consultation with the MPH track staff, we have now established an official event policy regarding the use of Helmet Electronics at all TrackAddix events.

TRACKADDIX HELMET ELECTRONICS USE POLICY

TrackAddix DOES NOT allow the use of any helmet communication system, or the use of any electronic earphones/earbuds at any time while riding on the track.

NO ELECTRIC DEVICES above the neck are allowed of any type, including OUTSIDE or INSIDE the helmet, at any TrackAddix / MPH event.

If a rider has a helmet with an installed helmet communication system module on the outside of the helmet, this item must be REMOVED from the helmet prior to entering the track. Any mounting bracket for such a device may be left on the helmet for convenience, as long as the device itself is removed. 

NO wires of any kind are allowed extending from the inside of the helmet to the outside of the helmet.

If a rider has an integrated internal helmet communication module installed inside of a helmet, this module must remain powered OFF at all times while riding on the track. We would highly recommend obtaining a separate high-quality helmet for use on the track.

Failure to adhere to this policy will result in removal from the track until the condition is corrected, and a warning. Any subsequent violation will result in permanent removal from TrackAddix events.
